FlatStanley had a great night talking racing with Aunt Susie. She had been to a few ChampCar races in 2006 and 2007, seeing races at Burke Lakefront Airport in Cleveland and traveling with her friend Sonja up to Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, for the RoadAmerica race.
And this past September she met Sonja in Chicago. Together they rented a car and drove down to Joliet, Illinois, to Chicagoland Speedway for the Indy Racing League's race there. It was a lot of fun. She got to meet Alex Tagliani, one of the top open-wheel racers. While Alex didn't win the race, he and his team were very happy with the race because they learned a lot about the car and what they need to do to it to make it go faster.
